This is one of the first of the series , I am trying to collate the various wrapped / replays released through various services - majorly music and games

Music

This was the year that I finally made the shift from Spotify to Apple Music. After a few failed attempts, I was finally able to break a decade long bond with Spotify It was a combination of multiple things, their poor android app, recommendation algorithm filled with paid or promoted music, and inability to support local or uploaded music properly.

While apple music has its flaws especially on the Android and Windows, two platforms it’s not made for. What really pulled me is the beatiful local music sync across apps / platforms and an abosultely beautiful Classical Music App with Listening Guides , histories and perfect recommendations.

Spotify was used for first 3 months, rest is Apple Music

Also this year I took up the humungous tasks of learning Piano and Violin(much recent). I don’t have any end goals related to them but when I think about what would make happy down the line 20 years or so, learning to play instruments would be one of the biggest things

Games

This was the year I reignted my love for video games, which was lost in figuring out this rat race of the corporate world. All thanks to the Gratuity, I was finally able to fulfill the childhood dream of owning a playstation device.

PS5

All the PS5 Exclusives I have been waiting on all these years, I played (and enjoyed). Ghost of Tsushima, Last of us (Part I & II), Spiderman I and Miles Morales, GoW

PS5 Review

Steam

Steam took some backseat in the PS5 excitement, although it did not deter me from not buying games on it. Did Play a significant amount Full Steam Replay

Epic Games

Reuniting With the College Gaming Trio, we went through Co-Op Free games given out by Epic ( Mostly Zombie Shooters). Sadly enough Epic doesnt publish it numbers We Completed Dead Island 2 andBorderlands 2 . Started Dying Light Enhanced Edition.

I also tried my hands at turn based strategy game Sid Meir’s Civilization VI. Its an interesting game , very different from the ones I have played, and certainly with a steep learning curve.

I hope to continue exploring it this year.
